Pickleball Lines on Tennis Courts - 2 PB vs 4 PB courts?

We’re looking at having pickleball court lines added to existing tennis courts. One question we are trying to resolve is whether to layout two pickleball courts or four pickleball courts on each single tennis court.

I know where tennis players generally come down on this…right, “zero pickleball courts.”

But seriously, how do pickleball players feel about having two pickleball courts vs. four pickle ball courts laid out on a single tennis court? Assuming all of the pickleball courts are being used at the same time, how strong is player preference for a two court layout or a four court layout?

Consider that the current/existing alternative is no pickleball courts at all. We can almost certainly implement two pickleball courts on a tennis court. Trying to push for four courts on a single tennis court is a bigger battle and has some risk of ending up with the status quo…no courts.

Thoughts?

I’d love to hear player opinions

We need more information.
How many tennis courts are there already?
Are the tennis courts always busy?
How many pickleball players are trying to have the new lines?
Is this contemplated in an HOA? Parks & Rec? Private tennis courts?

This facility is at a middle school and has only three tennis courts. Currently, the courts have multiple sets of lines due to an over-emphasis on “multi-use” when they were originally created about ten years ago. There are lines for tennis, volleyball, basketball and one pickleball court on each of the three “tennis” courts.

These courts have not ever been used for basketball or volleyball, only lightly for pickleball. Tennis is their primary use by the middle school and general public access has been very limited.

There is a project being formulated to resurface the courts and restripe them for tennis and pickleball. Assume that it’s a typical tennis court and space around each tennis court like you might find at any school or public park. There is enough space to squeeze in four pickleball courts on each tennis court.

My question is really about the experience that pickleball players have had with playing on tennis courts with lines for two pickleball courts vs. playing on tennis courts with lines for four pickleball courts.

Is one of the options preferred by players? Is it as pleasant to play with four courts compared to two courts? Is player collision with four courts a concern? Etc.

I’m simply trying to get a sense of what pickleball players think about playing on two courts vs. four courts on a tennis court.

Thanks!

Newbies asking which payment method: e-wallets like Skrill or PayPal if you want the easiest withdrawals and don’t mind the small fees. Debit card is simplest but withdrawals are slower at most operators. Crypto is fast but only worth it if you already hold crypto — buying crypto specifically to deposit adds a layer of cost and complexity that usually wipes out the speed-benefit unless you’re moving meaningful amounts.

Finding trustworthy operators: license-jurisdiction is the first filter, complaint-history is the second, payout-time reputation is the third. Don’t pick by bonus-headline, that’s the worst possible criterion and it’s exactly the one the marketing is designed to push you toward. The marketing exists to short-circuit your evaluation process — bypass it by deciding your evaluation criteria before you ever see an offer page, and stick to them.

First deposit advice: pick a small amount you would not miss if it disappeared in 20 minutes. £20-£50 is fine for finding out whether the platform suits you. Anything bigger is a bet on the operator before you’ve verified anything about them.
