USAPA announces "National Indoor Championships" inaugural tournament (Hoover, AL)

This is the first time USAPA is hosting this National Indoor Championships tournament, and they’re getting a nice headstart at getting the info out. It will be from 2020-06-09T06:00:00Z2020-06-13T06:00:00Z

It’s expected that over 1,000 pickleball players from around the country will be playing in this event, at the Hoover Met Complex, in Hoover, Alabama.

This event will be hosted in this 155,000 sq ft complex and have a total of 27 indoor courts, as well as a championship court.

They will have plenty of onsite amenities but the best part is that it’s FREE PARKING, which is especially nice for folks who are coming back to play/spectate, each day.

Oh, and there will also be an RV complex for those traveling from afar, to enjoy what seems like will be a spectacle event, kind of like their sister event at Indian Wells.

Speaking of Indian Wells, all gold medalists will get free registration for the 2020 Margaritaville USA Pickleball National Championships being held at the Indian Wells Tennis Gardens again, this November 2020.

The live streaming will be from June 11th to June 13th, and I’m guessing that the live stream will be on the USAPA YouTube channel where they broadcast their “Nationals” tournament, last November.

Btw… if you missed the streams from last year, you can check them out here.

Standard divisions will exist with skill/age matches for the first three days, consisting of singles and doubles for Women, Men, and Mixed.

Then the final two days will be the open pro division with total cash prizes of $25,000 :money_mouth_face:
